Unlike the earlier games in the franchise, the classes in EverQuest Next are not a one-time choice that players are stuck with for the remainder of that character's life. Instead, players can swap out the classes and use the skills and weaponry of that class in different situations. With over 40 plus classes promised to be available at launch, that's a lot of flexibility.
O.O

Cleric sounds like a fun class. Getting excited about this game again.

Yep

Seems like it's almost round 3 of a good MMO time. UO+EQ for 1, Shadowbane+wow for 2, least for me.

EQN is exciting people with something fresh. Now that Blizzard's wow base is almost halved we start to see talk on this http://www.gamespot.com/articles/bli.../1100-6421751/ which kind of hints that they know it's almost time to start really thinking about a WoW2 again since titan failed. Specially with titan falling off. Almost hoping that this next wow xpac bombs forcing them to think about another mmo again sooner than later. This sorta reminds me when EQ was reaching it's glory days end and wow came in to pick up the crumbs since EQ2 was going another direction. Now that wow seems like it's coming to it's glory days end(did for me xpac ago), they know they will have big competition with EQN is why this starts to come up. If EQN turns out to be great wow will lose out like EQ did when wow released.

Big update to Landmark today, bringing full PvE:

Plus the team will be shifting to EQN full-time starting next year.

Nice! Can't wait to see updates rolling out for EQN next year.

You guys heard Sony sold SoE. This was about a month ago. Not sure how I feel about looking forward to EQN now. They aren't surpose to sell out mmo's till 5 years in. Very sad.

Can it get worse? Oh yes, it can. The next big kick to consumer confidence was the announcement that Storybricks was no longer partnered on the project. This revolutionary AI was one of — if not the — biggest factor in setting this game up as the next big thing.
Sad to see this happen. Anyone following knew this kind of stuff was gonna happen. Oh well. Just puts me back to where I was before, not looking forward to much in the mmo area of gaming.
