Aion Raid Boss
Our guild did a fortress siege tonight, I was to low lvl to go but here is a SS of the boss from KZ's pov. Took over 30mins to kill him! Over 100 people were atking him!

It wasn't a loot boss. It was the pvp boss to take over the fortress. Once u take over the fortress it opens up an instance. Like WG but instead of clicking on the orb u have to kill that boss. Its just like WG, u got to take over the artifacts, then bust threw the door, then kill elites on the way to him. The whole time getting attacked by the other faction.
Edit: o ya about the time / ppl it took. The raid boss is lvl 40. Most ppl were lvl 40 and under. Im sure once ppl are 50 with end-game weps it will be a lot ezer. |
Sup with the instances. Loot based or more pvp?

The instance is a PVE instance. Its a group (6man) based instance. With a 1 day lock-out timer.

Sounds very everquestish if its taking 3 days to level. I don't think I have it in me to play a newer version of EQ. Just tooo much of a time sink.

I even offered to get yoox Aion and he wont. People in my guild are either playing it or giving up their accounts.

Aight sry i haven't been taking them kinda focusing on my lvl'n. 45 now gonna do my advanced stigma line. tho im gonna get passed soon in the lvl'n race b/c i work. pretty much been doing every other day i'd sleep type schedule to try and stay #1 :p even tho there is no reason.

What are the mechanics of the fights like?
|
most of the early fights are just straight tank and spank. but in the 40's dungeons they start getting some mechanics. one guy drops tons of bombs and u have to kill a bomb and stand in its place before the rest blow up. um the last boss in that dungeon is like muru and huge dps check we couldn't pass it. he spawns waves of adds time based. um the first boss pic i posted is kinda like heigan gotta with randomness. those vents spout out a pink gas and u gotta dance around them. also all inside and all outside light up at times.

Kz I heard you raided cah's butthole with a raid group. There were also random geysers there.

these 2 bosses are in a zone and patrol. they can patrol into each other and they fight. the dino on the left is a normal size mob to give a scale.
