Who's watching this? I enjoyed the pilot, so far the show is interesting. Two episodes in. I know that they said this series has nothing to do with the BSG series, but this is obviously the seeds to BSG. The beginning of the cylon race is his daughter and the Adama family is involved. Interesting plot. I have to say that the robot/chick is alittle freaky. It weirds me out alittle bit.

Oh crap, that's out already? I saw the pilot (or movie, or whatever it was that came out months ago) a while back and really enjoyed it as well. Gonna have to catch back up. I didn't think I'd like it, but was pleasantly surprised.

im just finishing up S3 and DL'n S4 so ill get around to it afterwards for sure.

Yes it's out and i'm enjoying it. The pilot repeat was on two weeks ago Syfy. So you are only missing one episode(last week). Friday 9 pm est Syfy. The plot is already getting good.

Most definitely finish up all of BSG before diving into Caprica. S4 with the final battle with the cylons(still wows me). You will enjoy that!

Second episode was kind of confusing. What is Zoe trying to do? Although I guess there probably should be a ton of questions 2 episodes into a new series.

I like the group family thing, I wonder if they are like swingers.

Well, Zoe so far seems to act human in both worlds (jacked in/ real world). Adapting to being a robot in the real world while trying to get her friend to help her, as for helping her do what they haven't said much beyond her bascally wanting help being in a vulnerable state, while keeping her secret of actually being there all together.

I'm surpised that her father thinks her avatar was deleted still even after he knows that the robot is one of a kind and can't replicate more copies.

Also surpised that Zoe's mom decided to spew all that jazz in public about the terrorist plot.

I don't know, I can see how her dad doesn't realize it. If I were him I'd expect my daughter to try and let me know that she's in there instead of pretending to be a mindless robot.

I watched about the first 10 minutes of the pilot on Bravo today. Seemed like a mix between Star Wars and The Secret Life of the American Teenager so I abruptly turned it off. Super gay.

Pretty ironic though, because watching Bravo in the first place is typically queer.

Anywho, for serious naow, looked pretty interesting, just had to bolt to class, little disappointing.

Maybe if you watch the show and go to a Caprica convention in the future you might get some robotic pussy.

Finally got around to watching the rest of this after only seeing the pilot. Man, this was such a great show. Can't believe it was cancelled. Criminal.

With Stargate Universe canceled as well and Fringe on it's way out I'm starting to think sci fi series on TV are doomed lately

Yep, really enjoyed it, haven't finished it, but it was definitely better than most of the stuff on the major networks...like V.

BTW the ending to Caprica, although it got cancelled, was still really good. I was slightly pissed off though that the whole show I was thinking this was the great Bill Adama, but it was just his dead older brother.

Yep and on the note of SGU being canceled with the other shit on syfy, i'm getting to the point of not gonna be watching syfy no more. Not gonna watch alot of other channel shows no more either.

Yeah, that was kind of a weird twist. I guess that also means the Doc Coddle they showed in the finale was Coddle Sr., and not the one from BSG. Bill Adama seemed like he was in his 50s in BSG, which would make Caprica's Coddle 80+ years old in BSG. Doesn't seem right to me. It's too bad, because it was kind of neat thinking we were watching these prominent BSG characters in their youth.

Speaking of the finale, I didn't quite catch the significance of some of the characters that they showed in that final montage. For example...

* did Lacy Rand turn into the predecessor to BSG's oracle?
* Who did her boot-camp-boyfriend turn into? Looked like he became the head of STO. Were they ever mentioned in BSG?
* Clarice Willow seemed to be the one to spark the revolt in the cylons. Was that character ever referenced in BSG?

I guess Season 2 would've done more to connect the two shows, so it's really too bad they canned it so soon.

I think showing them was just tying up that story line of what happened back on Gemanon (Geminon?).

Also, it kind of made me wonder if Coddle from BSG was a cylon. Maybe they made a skin job out of him too, just that he never knew. I mean if Zoe was the first skin job and no one knew skin jobs existed until Caprica got nuked in the first episode of BSG, it leaves the possibility of others being present as well that aren't linked to the cylon movement.
