GW2 beta weekend
 

Is anyone doing the beta weekend? I am thinking about preordering because I am bored and want something to do this weekend.

Watched some video about GW2 (I never played GW1) and it does look really good. Don't think I can go back to WoW after seeing how good these new MMOs like Tera and GW2 look. They're stunning. I was going to pre-order GW2 today to play the open beta this weekend, but they're all sold out:

So I ended up ordering Tera. GA isn't until May 1 (Tues), but head start begins tomorrow morning if you pre-order. Your character from open beta last weekend carries over too, so that's cool.

:p, yea GW2 looks good for a PvP MMO to me. but ima give MoP a fair shake also see how it is. but my main plan is CS:GO and D3

Tempted to get Tera, but with D3 close seems like a waste. I want to check out GW2 too. :(

yeah the weekend sold out before I jumped on :(. I don't have the time to keep a high twitch skill for FPS's any more. I am stuck on MMOs now. Gogan what server are you going on for Tera I preordered but dont know which server to go with.

I completely agree. I'm just bored and weak.

GW2 does look interesting but Ill wait for D3 or MoP. I'm going to give WoW one more shot in MoP... I have a feeling that they will put out a better expansion this time around since so much the designers time in cata was spent remaking the low lvl zones.

Can buy GW2 again.

and of course I spend the cash to find out beta ends 20 min from now... sigh fml

Stress test on Monday from 11am to 6pm. Tempted to take it off.
On an unrelated note, I've been reading up a lot on the game and there are some really cool things that they're doing. Well, at least they sound good on paper.

Seems like a good time since the last beta weekend, there were some bugs but nothing too serious that I saw.
The game is actually pretty fun, its wow+rift+daoc. I haven't messed around with the pvp much but the little I saw was fun too.

Also next BWE is 07/20-22 if you pre-order it.

Everytime I get one of their emails I'm like "OH BOY BETA INVITE" and then I read it and I'm like, fuck you and your pre-order assholes.
