Gogan 10-15-2013 10:45 AM

I saw that. Surprising.

Hopefully they can make this show good again. S3 wasn't my favorite, and the S4E1 (or the season previews after the episode) didn't get me too excited either.

rursusferre 10-15-2013 06:56 PM

yeah, the first episode didn't exactly blow me away.

Gogan 11-11-2013 07:05 PM

The last few episodes have been quite good. Last night's, I thought, was fantastic.

Yes I agree. GOV is back! SPOILERS

rursusferre 11-12-2013 03:02 PM

definitely has gotten better

McGrupp 11-13-2013 08:31 PM

Too bad you haven't!

rursusferre 11-14-2013 09:37 PM

my feelings

Gogan 11-26-2013 10:17 AM

I was never a fan of the governor character, but I gotta say the last couple episodes have been fantastic. I am, however, bummed that they're making him seek revenge on the prison gang so soon. I liked that he was sort of settling down with the new family and initially trying to steer clear of a leadership role at the new camp. That was an interesting little arc. To put him right back into his old role seems cheap and lazy on the writers' part. It would've been ok some time down the line, but it's just too soon imo.

This story reminds me of raid leading and Nuch for some reason.

rursusferre 11-26-2013 04:23 PM

I see what you're saying Asano. I think maybe we are supposed to believe he was going to let it go. Even seeing Rick didn't seem to illicit a response. But its all about Michonne. I think thats what tipped it.

McGrupp 11-26-2013 05:34 PM

I think him seeing Martinez is what tipped him! Reminded him of the damage done by Michonne and others. But agreed, it was all too quick.

rursusferre 12-01-2013 07:28 PM

Jesus christ.

Fusa 12-01-2013 10:31 PM

Lol I loved this episode

Yooxra 12-02-2013 09:17 AM

They keep killing off the grandfathers! Makes me sad.

Gogan 12-02-2013 08:22 PM

That episode was insane. Shocking.

rursusferre 12-02-2013 08:24 PM

yeah, it was the most intense episode in a long time.

Sly 12-07-2013 03:32 PM

Am I the only one that thinks this whole season was terrible until the last episode? The story went nowhere. Plus the zombies have deviated so far from what they were in the first 2 seasons it's ridiculous. What happened to them being faster and more blood thirsty when in groups and at night? But now the governor can, in his half awake non-lucid stupor, just side step one and walk through a town of them, really? I can't say I care about this show anymore.

McGrupp 12-07-2013 06:45 PM

Valid Sly, but it's better than last season.

Kz 12-07-2013 07:00 PM

yea i liked it a lot better than last season even tho much didn't happen. that last episode was just the most amazing ep since like season 2.

Stag 12-09-2013 08:03 AM

Lol i didnt even watch a single episode of this show this season

Rottenzombie 12-23-2013 11:52 PM

I just now got caught up.
The last I saw was about halfway through last season which I didn't particularly care for which is why I never finished it. I was pretty much done with the show. Ran out of stuff to watch so figured eh, might as well see what happens.

It was actually nice to think that maybe the Governor could change, but soon as he was back to his old ways, I was over it. Felt invested enough with the zombie flu and the newer characters that I stuck it out.

So now the rest of the season is just going to be a repeat of what happened after they left the farm?

Yooxra 02-06-2014 06:04 PM

feb 9th, this sunday 2nd half of S4 starts.

They have been doing lots of this kind of movie and series promotion in NY. The demon baby one for that last movie promotion was really funny.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PUKMUZ4tlJg#t=31

The one they did for the Carrie movie freaked out all the people in the store they did it in

Good stuff. Hope they do more, I like it.

Gogan 02-07-2014 02:10 PM

LOL, I hadn't seen the devil baby one before. That's pretty good.

I thought it was flipping hilarious

Gogan 03-18-2014 08:30 PM

Walking Dead has gotten really good this second half of the season. This past episode was *amazing*! Surprised no one here is talking about it.

McGrupp 03-19-2014 07:54 AM

Agreed! Was almost like a CSI episode, but touched based with the reality of the situation in the show. Way better than last season!!

I can't believe what happened happened. I thought Tyree would shoot Carol in the face too.

Kz 03-19-2014 05:21 PM

yea i've also enjoyed the 2nd half of this season way more than the passed season and a half.

Fusa 03-23-2014 09:02 PM

I liked tonights episode yep

McGrupp 03-31-2014 12:23 PM

Cannibal-inus?!

Kz 03-31-2014 01:58 PM

yea this 2nd half of the season has been amazing, glad it got good again cuz the whole governor thing was boring to me.

rursusferre 03-31-2014 08:52 PM

The only thing that ruined the episode was "they're screwing with the wrong people" . Apparently tbey filmed takes that said fuck but AMC ultimately wouldn't given them a pass (apparently breaking bad got a few)

Gogan 04-01-2014 11:21 AM

I couldn't even tell what he said at the end there. I thought he said "They schooled the wrong people", and I was like "uhh okay? That's a weird thing to say." Wasn't till I read about the show later that I learned he said "screwed/screwing".

That finale was pretty good. Not as epic as the Lizzie and Mika's episode, but I'm not sure anything could've topped that one.

I do *hate* the new characters they introduced though. Rosita is hot, but I LOL'd when they first introduced her. Her whole G.I. Jane schtick (hot latina, super short shorts, machine gun, etc) was so over the top it was comical. They've since reigned her in a bit, which I appreciate. G.I. Joe Abraham is still the stereotypical army meathead though, and it's tough to watch. Eugene might be the most painful to watch though. I haven't read the comics so I don't know what role these three play, but I hope they're not around for too long.

Fusa 04-01-2014 04:49 PM

Eugene killed it as soon as I seen that mullet, and as in killed it, ( hopefully he dies soon)
