Hearthstone Tourney
 

How does a Hearthstone Tourney sound, I wanna get more people into this and playing more often.
I'm willing to throw in a 10$ Steam game (winner's choice) as the 1st place prize. A little incentive to get people to show up.
How does the weekend of December 14/15 or 21/22 starting around 1 pm PST sound? one of those dates on the weekend.

I need peoples inputs also on the following:

1. Single or Double Elim brackets?
2. Best of 3, loser switches decks (all decks must be premade).
2a. Should we allow only 3 decks? or more than 3?

Not sure what other info i need but just let me know if you have interest so i can start setting up the bracket.

ill be out of town for xmas week so 21st wont work, but if im home in down

if we use basic decks I might have a chance, people who lay a lot more and who have put some money into it should be able to get a (most of the time ) better deck so there is no balance.

I would love to throw away my money for fun =D

I suspect a good player with basic decks will beat a bad player with access to all the cards, so I wouldn't be too worried Fusa.

I haven't played since the first weekend I got beta access (and I wasn't even good then), so I'll be pretty terrible today. That said, I could be up for a friendly tourney.

I would be interested. Right now I'm not sure what the holiday schedule looks like though.

Also, I'm in the same boat as Asano and Fusa. If I play, I'd probably stick to basic decks since I only have ~20 games under my belt at the moment.

looks like saturday the 14th fits everyone schedule the best. need to figure out what time i was thinking in the evening around 7pm pst but we can start anytime for me im just trying to appease everyone.

we're gonna shoot for 7 PST on the 14th single elim best of 3. have 2 decks prebuilt when u lose that deck is out. finals will be a best of 5, have 3 decks prebuilt.

after the holidays i might make this a weekly thing to keep people interested in HS

dude, I feel asleep at 5 to catch up on sleep and woke up at fuckin 2am....... now it is 10 after 6 and I am ready to own nuch!!!

I was at a birthday and decided to stay. From what my buddy told me, he was online and getting tourny invites...and I told to either play or clarify that it was him, apparently neither of those happened.

Sounds like it was a good event regardless though.

Would enjoy a regular scheduled tourney, whatever the frequency.
Has anyone checked on Might and Magic's card game, Duel of Champions?
