I've watched a lot of streams since I've been seeing the same high ratings as you, but I haven't been super impressed with what I've seen. All of the environments and missions look exactly the same -- there's no variety. It's also really short apparently -- only about 10 hours to finish the main story. Kinda disappointing since I was originally looking forward to this game.

This is the game Torch is working on. He said it is pretty good. He was on WoW about a month ago.

Wow, didn't even know Torch was in game development. Ok, in that case I'll probably give SoM a shot this weekend.

I dusted off the PS4 and picked it up the other day, so far it has been pretty fun. Hope to spend some quality time ignoring the kids and playing this weekend.

From what I have seen, it looks pretty bad ass. The nemesis system is really cool. Hope Torch is well, miss that dude. Always made me laugh (probably not on purpose).

I quite enjoyed it. Sure it does a bit of malarky with Tolkien Lore, but overall it was a great action game. I found that it got really quite simple once I powered up my guy a bit, but overall it was fantastic.
