Playa del Carmen is amazing.. did you guys go see the Mayan ruins?

I went there two summers ago.. it was amazing. Playa del Carmen is quickly becoming Americanized though. I remember how Cabo, Cancun, Mazatlan, and other great places used to be. Now they are filled with Starbucks and McDonald everywhere. Still amazing places to visit if you have some good guides or know the area. Playa del Carmen is slowly being taken over my global companies though
