Oh man, reminds me of the old guild Lach and I were in where we had to do that to get our guild leader's account back with the guild bank. The account was banned because he was using stolen accounts to play with teleport hacks. We tracked him down to his home server and I went on and tricked him into admitting what he'd done in tells and they showed it to blizz.
