Tanking Question on Ignis

My guild is a small guild just friends on a crappy server so not much people to ask questions to. I used to be on Ner'zhul and Raided with DBSS. We were doing attempts on ignis last night and our tank was getting hit for melee of upwards of 40k+. And only had 2 constructs active, we were using a DK tank with about 43k hp. Is that not enough? Should she stack all stam gems? Her name is Taktank. Please any suggestions would greatly be appreciated. Grats on your US first.

It's just pretty much where the tank can be very close to 1 shot.

How much hp does the tank you used have were they war, dk, pally, or druid. We only did about 5 or 6 attempts on him but didn't have time to change up the tanking. We did Chess event V2.0 lol and razor scale pretty easily.

But having him hit the tank for 43,450 when the tank has around 43k and its its only 20 seconds into the fight doesn't seem to me like any boss fight i have ever done even 3drakes.

We used a druid tank. We also tried to keep his debuff at 1, and 2 for the least time possible. Keeping control of the constructs is the key.
