Agreed on the video card. It's either that or general heat issues. An nVIDIA 6600GT should be pretty cheap and with the rest of your specs you should be able to play WoW okay.
That being said, if a new system is feasible I'd recommend taking care of that now. You're of course getting to the point where the warranties are running out on your parts if they've not already done so, plus you've no doubt noticed the performance hit even when your video card decides to cooperate. I just built myself a new box a month ago to replace a 3 year old system and it's just night and day now, even in WoW. |

glad to hear that. raiding on that box would be, uh, impressive.
if you stick to basic desktop apps, that 6200 should be just fine, and XFX tends to be a solid manufacturer. |
