Just caught your reply with the mobo. That one seems okay but it has the niggling issues common to lower-end Asus boards.

If you don't need SLI or a lot of PCI slots like me, this is a very good board. Installation was easy with clear documentation on the manual.

Fucking christ the board is no longer for sale (and fuck no edits). I'll try to find something else.
