well, I am not even 100% sure Jacob even exists. Maybe Locke isn't a good guy anymore. The thing about jacob that I remember when someone went to see him was that you saw a flash of Horus.

Keep in mind Locke was always a thorn in everyone's side back in season 1/2, you probably see him as turning to a bad guy because he's been so unlike himself lately...and dead.

New theory here. Daniel in the 1950's is all about burying the bomb, then suddenly in the 70's is all about unburying it. Pretty sure that the massive energy release he is talking about is going to be not from the drilling or whatever, but actually from them detonating the hydrogen bomb. No duh, right. BUT, what will happen is, the resulting explosion will send Jack and all of them BACK to the present day island. So we are going to see them "die" ala Richards perspective and either the season ends or right before the episode ends, we see them all back in present time on the island.
