LoG looks pretty good -- definitely reminds me of the Might and Magic games, which I loved. Will definitely check it out.

I've never seen gog.com before. Very tempted to go back and play the classics (Baldur's Gate, Might & Magic, Fallout). I still have most of them in the original boxes, but playing them on today's machines isn't always a great experience. Looks like the folks at gog.com have done the necessary work to get them running smoothly on modern systems. Wish they had the Bard's Tale series -- one of my first games that got me into RPGs.

Although, as much as I loved M&M, BG, etc, looking back at those screenshots is pretty rough. BG and FO aren't *too* bad, but the M&M games... eek. Not sure I could actually play through those again despite the very fond memories I have.

I'm in the same boat for some of them. I have balder's gate in a box new that I still haven't gotten to play. Now that they are making balder's gate enhanced edition http://www.pcmag.com/article2/0,2817,2401667,00.asp I think I might wait alittle longer. Multiplayer in it too.

GoG.com is great for just that, being able to play older games on the newer systems without having to emulate or mame etc which is nice.

As for LoG, i'm preordered 20% off, 11.99. I'm all over it! Bring back some old school memories.

Yeah, I read that. Very cool -- and probably worth waiting for -- but they just started work on it, so who knows how long it'll be till release. =/
